  • Enrollment Hubs are conveniently open Monday-Thursday across all five boroughs.
No documentation is needed for:
  • English as a Second Language (ESL)
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE)
  • High School Equivalency (HSE) classes
For Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes leading to certification and job placement, you may need to provide:
  • A Social Security Number
  • Other documents to verify your identity

What’s the Difference Between Basic Education and High School Equivalency?
